Pergamyn Paper for food use. Our “silver” parchment paper is waterproof, and non-stick; however, unlike baking paper, it cannot be used for cooking, neither in a traditional oven nor in a microwave, even at low temperatures. White parchment paper is commonly used in the food industry to wrap sweets, cakes, nougat, pastries, pastry trays, and cooked foods. In the mechanical and automotive industries, it is used to protect greased and lubricated mechanical parts. It is essential for presenting trays and is also useful in delicatessens, as it forms a protective barrier even when in contact with greasy foods.
In its special paraffin-coated version, it can also be used for packaging and better preservation of flowers and plants. Thanks to its ultra-lightweight grammage, glossiness, and composition, which is both soft and highly resistant, it has become the most widely used packaging paper for wrapping any type of food in the confectionery sector (pastry trays, ice cream containers, and cakes).
Standard grammage: 35 g/m².
Standard sizes: 18×25 cm – 25×37 cm – 37×50 cm – 50×75 cm – 75×100 cm.
